This is like.
The first time I've logged on
or even been on deviantart in like almost half a year.
&I don't know why.

Over 7000 messages,
11000 deviations
&a bajillion notes to go through,
I have some catching up to do

Winter break is almost here for me,
which means I'll be able to be on here!

Today, my grandfather in Vietnam died.
I only met him once, when I was 6.
I was planning to go to VN next year for the sole purpose of seeing him&my grandmother.
I guess that's not happening anymore.

My grandfather, Michael Jackson, Ed McMahon, Billy Mays and Farrah Fawcett.
They all died this week.
Why are there so many random deaths going on all of a sudden.

I haven't updated my journal since April >.>

Many of you noticed,
I've been doing more photography than I have been drawing. (not very recently, but before I started to upload drawings again)

the reason for that is, summer is coming up,
&I want to be able to go outside&enjoy the sun while enjoying art at the same time,
and that's where photography comes in.
I know I can draw when I'm outside,
but I want to be able to interact with my surroundings,
capturing the moments I can't capture with just drawing.

Hearing the sound of the shutter makes me smile.
When I see other photographers with a better camera &lens than me,
it makes me stare in awe.
Not saying that drawing doesn't do the same, it does.

Drawing is my lifee
I doodle literally every second of the school day,
when I'm bored, or when I just have the want to draw!
I think I've gotten a WHOLE LOT better with my drawing abilities~



So the most recent news&updates,
is that I will be trading in my William<3, the Canon EOS Rebel XSi (you can see him here: [link])
for the latest Rebel, the Canon EOS Rebel T1i. I'll name him Lance (:

I'd wait to get the 60D/7D, coming out 4thQ, but I don't think I would need that, since I don't do photography professionally.

For those of you who know photography,
the T1i is almost EXACTLY the same as the XSi
only with some minor changes,
15 megapixels. (3 more than the XSi)
&HD video recording capabilities (which is the reason I want it)

I always wanted to get into filmography, but never had the correct tools.
I've had plenty to video recorders/camcorders, but they weren't HD(1080p).
I think HD is important,
but not as important has the storyline of whatever it is you're filming.
I won't do something if I don't have what I want to do it with,
such as HD capable video recorder.

Now that I have it,
I can do what I've always wanted to do.
Make an original short film.
